Blackbird Bespoke has joined Blue Patch*’s Let ‘s do Net Zero programme to audit and reduce carbon emissions and waste. We have begun auditing carbon and waste and aim to be a net zero business between 2030-2035.
This page will be frequently updated as progress is made, and we aim to make a regular annual update and maintain a record of our progress.
Why we are doing this
In 2015, 196 countries adopted the historic Paris Agreement to reduce global warming and build resilience to climate change. Its overall goal is to limit warming to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius. By 2050 the transitions to net-zero emissions must be fully complete

Our First Tasks
We are a UK designer and maker of metal furniture and accessories, and pride ourselves on offering high quality pieces to the UK market that are locally made by skilled artisans. This is in contrast to many imported items made in large factories and then shipped half way across the world.
However we aim to develop our understanding of the carbon footprint or operations and supply chain, and to add new environmentally- friendly materials and finishes and to incorporate recycled elements into our designs.
